Damian Williams
Litigation Associate

I graduated from law school in 2007 and spent two years as a law clerk, first for the DC circuit and afterward at the Supreme Court, and both of those experiences were obviously very litigation-based. So Paul, Weiss was a natural choice for me.

Taking a case to court, whether a trial court or an appellate court or even the Supreme Court, requires a unique set of abilities—not only communication, but also a higher level of strategic thinking, especially when the stakes are extraordinarily high. So I wanted to join a firm that was known for being able to try a case, that always brought the possibility of a full trial into any situation. Paul, Weiss has been doing this for a long time. It’s one of the best when it comes to litigation in New York.

Your life in the law is bound to be a long one. You want to choose a place that’s going to build a solid foundation for you, that’s going to train you well. If you want to learn, if you want the best possible boost to your career, the place to get it is Paul, Weiss.
